Quotations & Estimates

Any variations or additional work outside the scope of the original quote will be subject to additional charges.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are in GBP (£) and may be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
A call-out charge may apply depending on the nature and urgency of the service.
Payment terms are as follows unless otherwise agreed:
Domestic customers: Payment due upon completion of work.
Commercial customers: Payment due within 14 days of invoice.
We reserve the right to charge interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate for overdue invoices under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
We may require a deposit for large or high-value jobs.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee or call-out charge.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to adverse weather, sickness, or delays on previous jobs.
Access & Site Conditions
You must provide clear, safe, and timely access to the property or building.
If we are unable to access the site due to your fault, a call-out charge may apply.
You must ensure the site is free from hazardous materials and complies with health and safety regulations.
Materials & Parts
We may supply parts and materials as part of the service or use those provided by the customer (subject to inspection).
All parts and materials supplied by us remain our property until paid for in full.
Where special-order parts are required, full or partial prepayment may be necessary.
Guarantees & Warranty
We offer a 12-month workmanship guarantee on labour unless otherwise stated.
Parts and equipment are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
The guarantee does not cover:
- Misuse, neglect, or tampering
- Wear and tear
- Work carried out by others after our service
Property Certificates
We provide various property certification services, including:
EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report)
PAT Testing
Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
Gas Safety Certificates
You are responsible for ensuring access to relevant electrical and gas systems for testing.
Property certification services are carried out in line with UK regulatory standards.
Failure to provide access or safe working conditions may result in a failed inspection or rebooking fees.
Liability
We are insured for public liability and professional indemnity.
Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profit or revenue
- Existing faults or damage not caused by us
- Delays due to third-party suppliers or utility providers
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or power outages.
Subcontracting
We reserve the right to subcontract work to qualified and vetted professionals where necessary. All subcontractors are bound by the same standards of workmanship and insurance cover.
Complaints & Disputes
If you are unhappy with the service, please contact us at the address below within 7 days of completion. We aim to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.
Unresolved disputes may be referred to a third-party mediation service or court in England & Wales.
