EPC (Energy Performance Certificate)

An Energy Performance Certificate, or EPC, is a survey which gives a property it’s energy efficiency and environmental impact rating. The rating is scaled from A – G and, as of April 2020 all properties must have a rating of at least E. Our qualified Domestic Energy Assessors will examine key items within the house, such as cavity walls, boiler type, hot water tank, and windows to assess the rating of the property and once they produce a certificate that will be valid for 10 years. An EPC is required for any property that is being sold, rented, or constructed and should be made available at the start of marketing your property.
